Vivo has recently launched a new, selfie focused smartphone that boasts of a dual-camera setup surprisingly at the front. This handset is also equipped with a conglomerate of powerful internals and even a decent display. Here is more about the same, in terms of detailed specifications:
Vivo V5 Plus starts off with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, supporting In-Cell display technology. The Full HD panel is further safeguarded by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This smartphone weighs 158.60 grams and measures 7.26mm in thickness. Powering this gadget is a 3,055mAh battery module, equipped with fast charging capabilities.
Dual-SIM compatibility is one of the better specs on offer followed by 4G LTE connectivity, GPS for navigation, Bluetooth v4.2 and Dual-Band Wireless support. Acoustics are perfectly handled by the AK4376 audio chip and the 3.5mm audio jack. This smartphone from Vivo also stacks in a fingerprint sensor.
We aren’t exceptionally fond of the Funtouch OS v3.0 which is inspired by the Android Marshmallow v6.0.
In terms of processing prowess, Vivo V5 Plus throws in a decent enough Snapdragon 625 processor clubbed with Adreno 506 GPU. 4GB RAM is a massive offering followed by an internal storage limit of 64GB.
In terms of imagery, Vivo brings forth a decent 16MP rear shooter with PDAF and f/2.0 lens aperture. However, the best feature has to be the 20MP primary front shooter bolstered by Moonlight Flash support, 1/ 2.78-inch sensor and the 5P lens arrangement. An 8MP secondary front camera is also available for better outputs.
