Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro: An Upgraded Version with Minor Modifications
Samsung has recently launched a new and improved smartphone, touted as the successor to the existing Galaxy J2 2016. While the latter was launched only a month back, the new handset readily improves upon the existing set of internals without going overboard with pricing. Let us take a closer look at the featured set of attributes:
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro boasts of chrome-plated bezels in addition to a pattered rear panel. Even with a matte finish, this smartphone measures 8mm in terms of thickness. Moving on, we get a 5-inch HD screen, supporting Super AMOLED display technology. In terms of OS, Android Marshmallow v6.0 is designated to the same. Dual-SIM support is persisted with followed by the likes of 4G LTE connectivity and Wireless support. Other specs include Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS for navigation. This smartphone brings back the existing ‘Smart Glow’ notifier followed by certain nifty little enhancements in Turbo Speed Technology, ‘Ultra Data Saving’ mode and the S-Bike Mode synonymous to the J-series smartphones from Samsung. In terms of imagery, we get an 8MP primary shooter with flashlight support and a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 lens aperture.
Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro might just be one of the cheapest smartphones in its category but the 2,600mAh battery module is still an underwhelming addition. Moreover, the Spreadtrum SC8830 Chipset isn’t the best attribute on offer working in unison with a quad-core processor that clocks at 1.5GHz. Mali-400MP2 comes across as a pretty basic GPU.
