Huawei Nova Plus: Metal-Clad Handset with Exciting Shooters
Huawei has recently added a new handset to its existing Nova-lineup of smartphones. This device boasts of a brilliant design and exciting camera modules followed by an advanced acoustic arrangement. In terms of availability, this handset comes in mystic silver, titanium grey and prestige gold colors. Here is how the specs sheet associated with the same looks like in detail:
Huawei Nova Plus flaunts a metallic chassis, measuring a mere 7.30mm in thickness. In terms of screen real-estate, Huawei offers a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a 2.5D curved glass panel, sitting on top. The existing screen supports a contrast ratio of 1500:1 followed by 450-nits of maximum brightness. Powering the same is a sizeable 3,340mAh battery module.
Additional specs include a rear facing fingerprint scanner that unlocks the handset in 0.3 seconds followed by a 3.5mm audio jack supporting ‘DTS headphone X’ Audio technology. Other attributes include 4G LTE connectivity, Wireless support, Bluetooth v4.1 Low Energy and the much-anticipated USB Type-C port.
This smartphone weighs 160 grams to be exact and boasts of Dual-SIM compatibility.
Huawei Nova Plus runs Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 with the EMUI 4.1 sitting on top. This is more of a dated version of Android and not the best feature on-board. Moreover, the existence of a Hybrid slot is certainly a restrictive attribute for the users.
Unique Selling Points:
Purchase Huawei Nova Plus for Snapdragon 625 SoC that works in cohesion with an Octa-Core processor. Graphics are supported by Adreno 506 GPU. We get 3 gigs of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage on this device.
In terms of imagery, Huawei offers a massive 16MP rear shooter with PDAF, dual-tone flashlight support and the OIS. The 8MP selfie snapper is also a decent enough deal for the expected price point.
