HTC U Play: Feature-Packed Mid-Ranger with Fantastic Camera Modules
HTC has recently unveiled a brand-new smartphone that belongs to the U-series of handsets. This gadget throws in a pretty standard processor and brings forth some of the best acoustic features, in the given category. Let us take a closer look at the existing specs sheet:
HTC U Play throws in a 5.2-inch screen, exhibiting 1920x1080 pixels, in terms of resolution. The Full HD panel supports Super LCD display technology and is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. In terms of the operating platform, we get Android Marshmallow v6.0 straight out of the closet. Other specs include Dual-SIM support, built-in fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE connectivity, Dual-Band Wireless compatibility, USB Type-C v2.0, NFC, Bluetooth v4.2 and even GPS.
In terms of acoustics, we get dual microphones and HTC USonic support. This handset flaunts a metallic frame and glass-based design similar to the flagship HTC U Ultra.
We weren’t actually impressed by the smallish, 2,500mAh battery module even though it comes with fast charging support. Moreover, the Hybrid Dual SIM slot isn’t something customers should get excited about.
In terms of internals, HTC U Play gets a decent Helio P10 processor from MediaTek. Apart from that, we get 4GB RAM followed by 64GB of internal storage support expandable further up to 2TB. A 16MP rear shooter is on-board featuring OIS and f/2.0 lens aperture. We also get a 16MP selfie module, exhibiting the UltraPixel mode.
Lastly, this smartphone boasts of an AI-empowered interface termed as the Sense Companion.
