The Cybershot DSC RX10 M2 camera brings a new and improved 1” type 20.2 MP stacked BSI CMOS sensor. Its stacked design frees up more space for high-speed circuitry allowing for more sophisticated functions, and is a next generation of the familiar backside illuminated (BSI) design. The RX 10 M2 is capable of 4K video recording (with clips limited to a 5 minute maximum), slow motion 40x video recording with 960 fps capture and up to 16 fps continuous shooting. This camera has a focal length of 24-200 mm and a sensor size 13.2 x 8.8 mm and ISO that ranges from 125-12800 that is expandable from 64-25600. The camera has Multi, Center-weighted and spot metering. It also has a minimum shutter speed of 30 seconds and a maximum shutter speed of 1/32000 sec. It also has Contrast Detect (sensor), Multi-area, Center, Selective single-point, Tracking, Single, Continuous, Face Detection, and Live View Auto Focus. Additionally, it also has 8.3 X optical Zoom and 4X Digital Zoom. In terms of connectivity, the TV has USB, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) as well as NFC connectivity.
Design and Display:
The Cyber-Shot camera measures 129 x 102 x 88 mm and weighs 813 grams. This camera is not too heavy and can be used single-handed. In terms of display, the camera has a 3-inch LCD White Magic TFT, LCD display that has 1,228,800 dots resolution. In terms of battery, this camera has NP-FW50 lithium-ion battery that has an estimated life of 280 shots (according to CIPA) on a single charge.
