OLYMPUS OM-D E-M5 MARK II: Featuring a 16MP Image Sensor and the TruePic VII Processor
Olympus has taken the concept of Mirrorless cameras to a whole new level with the latest OM-D E-M5 MARK II. This camera boasts of a sturdy chassis and is expected to roll out pretty soon. Here is how the gadget looks in terms of specifications:
The OM-D E-M5 MARK II boasts of a 16MP image sensor working in unison with the TruePic VII image processor. Maximum image resolution of 4608x3456 pixels is supported by this camera. In terms of aspect ratio, the OM-D E-M5 MARK II supports multiple formats like 1:1, 3:2 and the standard 16:9. In terms of dimensions, the Four thirds image sensor measures 17.30x13mm besides sporting the CMOS make. The OM-D E-M5 MARK II also features a 40MP high resolution mode with the maximum image resolution of 9216x6912 pixels, meant for the RAWs. Primary color filter array is supported as well.
In terms of ISO sensitivity, the OM-D E-M5 MARK II offers the Auto mode besides the range of 200-25600. This is however expandable to 100-25600, for low-light conditions.
