Nikon’s latest DSLR in D7100 packs in a lot on a budget. Touted as one praiseworthy upgrade, the D7100 features several enviable attributes besides keeping up with the international standards. The specs sheet associated with this camera can be detailed as follows:


The D7100 is one compact DSLR featuring a 24.1MP image sensor. This CMOS sensor supports the DX-Format besides adding the all in one zooming prowess into the mix. This camera offers a maximum image resolution of 6000x4000 pixels. The image sensor measures 23.5mmx15.60mm and works perfectly in unison with the EXPEED 3 image processing engine. This DSLR offers an ISO sensitivity range of 100-6400, expandable up to 25600 besides 12 white balance presets and the custom white balance mod. RAW format is supported with this camera which supports both autofocus and manual focus. 51 focus points are covered with 15 cross type detectors. The D7100 features a 1.3X Crop mode as well. The Low pass filter is omitted which offers sharper details. Burst shooting mode is supported 6 frames per second.

Photography and Videography

The D7100 offers a maximum shutter speed of 1/8000 sec and a minimum tick of 30 sec.
