The D7100 boasts of a 24MP image sensor supporting the DX format and CMOS make. Paired up with the EXPEED 3 image processing unit, the D7100 offers an ISO sensitivity range of 100-6400 which can be expanded up to 25600. Besides the standard ISO modes, this camera offers burst shooting capability in the DX mode, at 6 frames per second for the continuous shots. Apart from the DX mode, this camera offers the 1.3X crop mode as well for the burst shooting needs at 7fps. Both manual and autofocus are supported by this gadget with 51 AF points to rely upon. The D7100 also packs in 15 cross type sensors for better clarity. The 2016 pixel metering sensor is also supported with RGB backdrop in addition to the OLPF omission. 12 white balance presets are supported besides the custom white balance mode.
