Nikon D3200: Offering a 24MP Sensor, Expeed 3 Image Processor and Bundled Lens Kits
Nikon has unveiled the latest D3200, a much improved version as compared to the previous iterations. This might not be a revolutionary gadget but certainly an effective choice for the beginner. Here is how the Nikon D3200 looks like in terms of specifications:
The Nikon D3200 boasts of a 24MP image sensor that measures 23.2mmx15.4mm in terms of dimensions. The APS-C image sensor offers a maximum image resolution of 6016x4000 pixels besides supporting other denominations as well. This camera supports 3:2 in terms of aspect ratio and features the Expeed 3 image processor for additional clarity. The Nikon D3200 boasts of an extended ISO sensitivity range of 100-6400 that is expandable up to 12800 with boost. Besides the Auto ISO mode, the Nikon D3200 also supports 12 white balance presets. One custom white balance mode is also available in addition to the RAW image format.
Focus and Optics
The Nikon D3200 features the Nikon F lens mount with the focal length multiplication limit of up to 1.5X. Autofocus is supported by the Nikon D3200 with several featured modes like Face detection, Multi-area and many more. Digital zoom is missing but manual focus is included with this DSLR in addition to the 11 focus points.
The Nikon D3200 offers a shutter speed range of 30-1/4000 sec in addition to the aperture and shutter priority modes. Connectivity and Storage
In terms of connectivity, the Nikon D3200 features USB 2.0 for faster file transfers. Mini Type C HDMI port is included as well besides the optional Wireless support.
