CANON POWERSHOT IXUS 275 HS: Featuring 20MP Sensor with Backside Illumination
Canon launched its latest ultra-compact in the POWERSHOT IXUS 275 HS which is a promising camera meant for daily usage. Touted as a usual pocket camera, the POWERSHOT IXUS 275 HS packs a lot more than expected out of it with the specs sheet enumerated as follows:
Sensor and Lens
The POWERSHOT IXUS 275 HS features a sensor with a resolution of 20MP and a focal range of 25-300mm. This camera features a BI-CMOS sensor with an Auto ISO range, dwindling within a range of 80-3200. The sensor size is ½.3 inches or 6.17x4.55mm with several metering modes in Spot, Multi and Center-weighted. The lens offers a digital zooming prowess of 4X for shooting under inclement conditions.
