The Digic 4+ processor powers the Canon IXUS 150 and it is a smart compact camera offered by Canon. The camera has a 32x zoom commanded with a 16 Megapixel sensor. The camera offers the users varied choices to experiment with. There are a couple of filters that the user can adjust manually.
The camera has a ½.3 type CCD sensor with iSaps technology. The focal length of the lens is 5.0 – 40 mm that is equivalent too 28-224 mm. The camera has an optical 8x zoom and 16x zoom plus, when combined it equated to 32x. The aperture of the camera ranges from f/3.2 to f/6.9.
The camera is a combination of the IXUS 155 and the IXUS 145 and it has various high end specs adapted from the 155. It also has various basic functions that are suited for the novice users. It has a few features like Live mode that allows real time adjustments, help button that guides through settings and functions and an Auto mode for changing settings.
The camera has Intelligent Image Stabilization that gives sharper images even while shooting in low light. The camera is lightweight and slim even after the battery and card are inserted. The buttons are large and visible and are accessible when used with a single hand.

The power, shutter, zoom controls are placed on the top plate. Overall, the build quality is pretty good and this camera is pretty handy.
