Canon has introduced a new mirrorless camera under its EOS series that is codenamed M10. Here is a small yet comprehensive review on this camera if you are seriously considering it. The price of this camera is yet to be revealed, but here are the tech-specs:
Canon EOS M10 is a mirror less camera that incorporates a full-frame CMOS sensor. Its backside-illuminated sensor has created a revolution and it is more sensitive in low light over the CMOS sensors. This is an APS-C type sensor that measures 22.3 x 14.9 mm. The ISO sensitivity on this camera ranges from 100 to 12800 that is expandable up to 25,600. This 18 Megapixel enabled camera has Multi, Center-weighted, Spot and Partial Metering. The camera features a maximum shutter speed of 1/4000 sec. In terms of AF, the camera has Contrast Detect (sensor), Phase Detect, Multi-area,Center, Selective single-point, Tracking, Single, Continuous, Touch, Face Detection, Live View AF modes. You can also shoot 4.6 fps with continuous shot mode. In terms of Connectivity, this camera features USB 2.0 cable, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) as well as NFC connectivity.
Design and Display:
The EOS M10 has an updated design with new control layout and grip. It measures 108 x 67 x 35 mm and weighs 301 grams. In terms of display, the camera features a 3-inch touch-enabled display that is quite crisp and sharp with 1040 k-dot resolution but does not have an image stabilizer. The camera has a video display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with MPEDG-4, H.264 Video format support. It has external storage options with SD, SDHC and SDXC card support.
