XOLO ERA 2X 3GB RAM: Entry-Level Smartphone with a Loaded Specs Sheet
Xolo brings out a new smartphone that is priced affordably despite packing in some of the best features in its class. This handset throws in a wide-array of advanced connectivity schemes in addition to a standard processor and a sizeable portion of RAM. Here is more about the same, in terms of detailed specifications:
XOLO ERA 2X 3GB RAM stacks in a 5-inch screen offering 1280x720 pixels, in terms of resolution. The On-Cell ‘In Plane Switching’ panel boasts of decent viewing angles. Android Marshmallow v6.0 is the existing operating platform. In terms of connectivity, we get Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, Wireless functionality and even GPS for navigation.
Other specs include a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and a highly functional fingerprint sensor. This smartphone measures a mere 9.50mm in thickness and will soon start selling in dark gunmetal and latte gold colors.
In terms of imagery, Xolo offers an 8MP rear shooter with 5P Largan lens arrangement and a 5MP selfie camera unit.
While this happens to be one of the cheapest smartphones in the given category, the 2,500mAh battery module is more of a disappointing addition.
XOLO ERA 2X 3GB RAM throws in a decent enough MediaTek MT6737 SoC, working in cohesion with a quad-core processor. Clock speed for the same is 1.25GHz. The 64-Bit chipset is perfectly assisted by the Mali-T720 MP1 GPU.
The best feature, however, is 3GB RAM followed by an internal storage limit of 16GB expandable further up to 32GB.
