Moto E3 Power: Bigger Battery Adds to the Excitement
If you are looking for an entry-level smartphone with a good brand name and massive battery backup the latest version of the existing Moto E3 might just be the one. With ‘Power’ suffix added to the recently launched Moto E, the new handset looks like a genuine improvement. Here is a detailed analysis of the existing specs sheet which doesn’t change much expect the battery:
Moto E3 Power persists with the 5-inch 720p display as seem on the predecessor. The IPS panel exists and the screen boasts of life-like visuals. This Dual-SIM supported smartphone boasts of the latest connectivity schemes in 4G LTE, Wireless support, GPS and Bluetooth compatibility. Apart from that, the 3.5mm audio jack is also persisted with. For better acoustics, this device throws in a front facing stereo speaker and the utilitarian FM radio.
Android Marshmallow v6.0 is the existing operating platform but this smartphone might soon get the Nougat upgrade.
In terms of imagery, we get an 8MP rear snapper with flashlight support and a 5MP front facing camera unit.
MediaTek’s MT6735P is a competent processor but Moto E3 Power should have had more firepower, mainly due to the existing name. Clock speed of 1GHz is pretty underwhelming for this handset and the Mali-T720 isn’t the strongest GPU either.
Unique Selling Points:
Purchase Moto E3 Power for the 3,500mAh battery module which is actually the best deal for the existing price point. 2 gigs of RAM look decent on this device followed by 16GB of on-board storage that is expandable in nature.
