Karbonn Aura Power: Massive Battery for a Less-Expensive Price Point
Karbonn’s new smartphone isn’t about display and processor but throws in a pretty powerful battery module which is capable of lasting that extra mile. This handset is priced nominally and will soon hit the retail stores in Ark-blue champagne and champagne colors. Let us take a closer look at this device:
Karbonn Aura Power offers a 5-Inch IPS screen with a display resolution of 854x480 pixels. For the given price point, Karbonn offers Android Lollipop v5.1 OS straight out of the box. Moreover, we get Dual-SIM compatibility with this handset followed by 3G and Wireless connectivity. Other specs include Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS for navigation. This device offers a basic Quad-core processor which is supposed to clock at speeds of up to 1GHz. An 8MP rear shooter is aboard besides the 5MP selfie snapper. The primary camera unit boasts of LED Flashlight support. This handset also stacks in the mainstream physical enhancements in FM Radio and a 3.5mm audio jack.
This handset houses only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage which is pretty less as compared to the what other manufactures are providing at a similar price. A 10mm thick chassis isn’t the best attribute on offer, making the handset heavy at 175.50 grams. Moreover, the FWVGA display is pretty outdated and Karbonn should have at least offered HD for this price point.
Unique Selling Points
Karbonn Aura Power boasts of 4G VoLTE connectivity and houses a 4,000mAh battery module which is a great deal for the sub-6K price point.
