Apple iPad 3 has some good specs including Retina Display for the first time in a Tablet.

iPad 3 comes with Apple iOS 5.1 and Dual-core 1 GHz processor, but Tabs are coming nowadays with even 2GB of RAM and quad core processors.

The 9.7 inches LED-backlit IPS TFT capacitive touchscreen with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution and Retina Display is the highlight of this tablet.

There is a good Primary 5 MP Camera but you have to cope up with a Secondary VGA Camera. Another drawback is the lack of external storage option and higher pricing based on internal storage upgrade.

Talk time of up to 10 hours is good enough, but this is a Wi-Fi only version with no 3G.

We advise you to check out the 3G/4G versions of Apple iPad 3 as well as to compare iPad 3 with iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Google Nexus 10, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Apple iPad 4.

Apple iPad 3 has been in the market for a while and is a very good tablet according to prominent reviews. That is the reason why I bought it and so far, I am satisfied with this one. Since I am font of applications, iPad 3 was my best choice of all other OS based tablets. It did not disappoint me either. Of late price has also come down a lot and it might be the time to buy one. The few things which I did not like in iPad 3 are the comparatively low powered dual core processor and 1 GB RAM.
